“Well, this time next week I will have my final tattoo sitting to finish up all of the last of the final detailing of my full back Ozzy Osbourne Tattoo Masterpiece with the infamous tattoo artist Mr. Matt Maguire owner of the Compass Rose Custom Tattoo here in good ole’ downtown Gloucester Mass. I cannot express my gratitude and all of the amazing ink work creativity and magic that Matt has incorporated into this amazing piece and the amazing journey that has brought Matt and I together as truly great friends and really now as he’s now a true member of my own personal family. This piece was thought to be done many years ago when I was only just a lad, but was never executed due to finances as well as if I’d truly want to have this on my body in my older years, well I guess on that aspect I was wrong lmfao. This tattoo was originally only to be an isolated piece in the center of my back, but Matt came up with the idea of turning this into a collage as a tribute to the Madman himself Mr. Ozzy Osbourne and both Matt and I were involved in designing and creating this piece with many input as well as many changes to this piece going on now 4 years of amazing and truly unbelievable tattooing skills that Matt has and lots of patients between both Matt (putting up with me and all of my added ideas and changes) and myself (putting up with all of the excruciating pain involved in getting a full back tattoo). If ya think it’s an easy thing to sit through, I dare you (give it a go and see) it’s not easy !!!! As Matt continued on with this piece, he had said to me as this piece was involving into this Masterpiece “How cool would this be to have Ozzy himself see this piece face to face and in person” ??? So through myself and my magic, I made this exact pipe dream a reality and both Matt and myself unveiled this Masterpiece to the “Prince Of Darkness” himself Mr. Double O last August backstage at the Black Sabbath “13” Tour Show in the Boston Ma area and Ozz was absolutely stunned, amazed and speechless to say the absolute least and Ozzy himself actually signed this piece which was also tattooed and incorporated into this Masterpiece the very next morning at Matt’s shop !!!!! Only knowing Matt now for only 4 years, I consider him one of my bestest friends that I’ve ever had the pleasure of having as though we’ve been lifelong friends as to which I hope we are to be. Matt has also tattooed my Dad many many times and he’s shown my Dad nothing but the utmost respect and Matt also donated a “Shining” Painted Masterpiece to my Dad when he fell ill to pancreatic cancer, my father was speechless that someone such as Matt could show him so my respect and love and this kind gesture brought my Dad to tears. My dad’s health has since taken a turn for the worse and he’s now terminal and critical with his cancer and if he had it his way, he’d still be sitting down in that chair getting more ink done by Matt. However, sadly this won’t be the case, but I just wanted to send out my dad, myself and my families appreciation to both Matt and his girlfriend Nicole Salem on just how much they both are loved, respected and appreciated within my family and they are both always within our hearts and souls for eternity, if any of you need to or want to get some amazing ink done, go to the Compass Rose Custom Tattoo here in Good Ole’ Gloucester Ma……They’re The Best !!!!!
